A result needs a basis
A clinician should be able to understand why information is being presented and assess whether it applies. Health Canada’s software guidance discusses independent review of the basis for recommendations as one relevant consideration; regulatory status depends on the full intended use and criteria.
Ask useful questions
Which inputs shaped this pathway? What source supports the information? Which patient groups or situations fall outside its scope? What needs to be checked before acting? These are useful questions when evaluating any clinical support tool.
The Anticoag360+ approach
Our platform organises clinical inputs into stepwise workflows and includes a Guidelines and References area. The development programme focuses on source visibility and clinician review. Integration features and Canadian deployment requirements remain subjects for further evaluation.
The key idea
Transparency supports informed professional judgement. It does not, by itself, establish clinical effectiveness or regulatory clearance.
